And by divine order, PALESTINE has been the chosen land to become the Wellspring of Faith, from which the prophets, Messengers of God, set out to bring the entire world the Divine Message in its three stages:

1. The Jewish Faith, through the Holy Prophet Moses.
2. The Christian Faith, through the Prophet Our Holy Lord Jesus Christ.
3. The Muslim Faith, the last stage, through the Prophet Mohammed.

Thus, Jerusalem, the capital of Palestine, became the birthplace of a culture and of human principles and values, and the Palestinians became bearers of this Faith and this culture to all the world.

Since 1948, despite the tragedy of the Palestinian people resulting from the Zionist occupation, with the participation of the treacherous British colonialism and the Soviet Union, which thought that the State would be Socialist and Communist and become a Soviet stronghold in the Middle East; and despite the blessing of American imperialism to crush the revolutionary movements that were calling for the independence, freedom and democracy of the Arab world; despite all the difficulties and the lack of resources, we set out to complete our university studies and hone the best weapon of all: Hope and Faith.

We have had the great fortune to come to SPAIN - CATALONIA - where we were able to continue our studies thanks to the warm welcome, hospitality and aid of the Catalan people, who gave us their affection and jobs needed to finance our studies.

So we spent long years in the faculties of Medicine, Law, Economics, Business, Architecture and Pharmacy, and we had the great fortune to fall in love with beautiful Catalan women, marrying and forming families that have borne our best fruit - our children, true Catalan-Palestinians, and we have become true Palestinian-Catalans. And since gratefulness is the province of the well-bred, we have decided to set up this Association in order to enrich our lives and get to know each other even better.

We believe that culture always joins peoples together, and religion often tears them asunder. We are a group of over two thousand Catalan-Palestinian intellectuals who wish to spread our culture to all peoples of the world, and especially to those who are seeking liberty and democracy, and who advocate human rights without consideration to politics, race or creed.
